ABOUT MAYA
Maya Jade Frank graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Southern California (USC) where she majored in The Business of Entertainment with a minor in Musical Theatre. She attended the Royal Academy of Music in London for her MA Musical Theatre.
Born and raised in New York City, Maya found her passion for the theatre at the age of 6 performing in shows such as regional productions of Beauty & The Beast, The Secret Garden, and Off-Broadway's Hurricane!
At 9-years-old she was cast as Little Cosette in the 25th Anniversary Tour of Les Misérables and traveled all over the United States, learning about different cultures and exploring historical locations in each city. She then joined the Original Broadway Revival of Evita alongside Ricky Martin, Isabela Moner, and Elena Rogers. She then joined the final cast of Broadway's Mary Poppins as Jane Banks.
Besides performing and doing good, alongside her sister, Maya co-founded TheYaSisters - a do-good business that raises awareness and fundraises for causes they believe in (including #MakeInvisibleVisible for Invisible Illnesses, the Actors Fund, The Project For Girls and many more).
But Maya's passion for health and wellness extends further beyond creating fundraisers. She loves creating community wellness events to inspire wellness in both body and mind to college campuses and communities - teaching students and people how to make healthy choices. She partners with brands such as GOOP Kitchen, BALA, MUSH Oats, Tarte Cosmetics, Craigs LA, Bandier, Splits59 and more to create a day of wellness filled with a movement class, community building activities and giveaways!
Maya Jade is also a certified Pilates Mat Trainer for THE SOHO HOUSE, BALA and USC where she inspires clients to be their strongest, most confident selves. She also has a blog where she posts healthy recipes, wellness resources and allergy-friendly restaurants.
