Maya graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Southern California (USC), studying Business, Marketing, and Computer Programming. She later earned her MA in Musical Theatre from the Royal Academy of Music in London.

Born and raised in New York City, Maya discovered her love for theatre at age six, performing in regional productions
like Beauty & the Beast, The Secret
Garden, and the Off-Broadway musical Hurricane!

At nine, she joined the 25th Anniversary
Tour of Les Misérables as Little Cosette, traveling the U.S. before appearing on Broadway in the original revival cast
of Evita alongside ricky martin, the final cast of broadway’s Mary Poppins (as Jane Banks), and more.

Recent credits include Natalie in Next to Normal (CV Rep) and Chloe in the UK revival of Be More Chill.

Beyond performing, Maya and her sister co-founded TheYaSisters, a social-impact project supporting causes such as invisible illnesses (#MakeInvisibleVisible), The Actors Fund, and The Project For Girls.
