Maya is a 20-year-old performer. Born and raised in New York City, Maya found her passion for the theatre at the age of 6 performing in shows such as regional productions of Beauty & The Beast, The Secret Garden, and Off-Broadway's Hurricane!

At 9 years old she was cast as Little Cosette in the 25th Anniversary Tour of Les Misérables and traveled all over the United States, learning about different cultures and exploring historical locations in each city!

Once she returned home, she was thrilled to join the Original Broadway Revival of Evita alongside Ricky Martin, Isabela Moner, and Elena Rogers. She then joined the final cast of Broadway's Mary Poppins as Jane Banks.

Maya attends the University of Southern California (USC) where she is an Honors Student studying the Business of Entertainment with a minor in Musical Theatre; taking classes at Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, Marshall School of Business, and the School of Cinematic Arts.

Besides performing, Maya's passion lies in giving back. In 2012, she co-founded 13 Wishes: a do-good business that brings the arts to places where they are limited and non-existent as well as raises awareness and fundraises for causes she believes in (including Invisible Illnesses Awareness, Anti-Bullying, and more). Recently, alongside her sister, Tehya, she developed @TheYaSisters: a digital platform that highlights inspiring young adults using their unique voices to change the world.

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, @TheYaSisters partnered with Dear Evan Hansen star, Michael Brown to produce BeneFIT, a donation-based series of Zoom classes taught by industry professionals to benefit the Actors Fund.

Their most recent campaign, #MakeInvisibleVisible was a collaboration with Kids Of The Arts & Laura Luc, Dance Molinari & Janine Molinari, and The Early Night Show to raise awareness and fundraise for invisible illnesses (including but not limited to: Mental Illness/Suicide Prevention, Lyme Disease, Celiac Disease, Crohn's Disease, Cancer, Lupus, Cystic Fibrosis, and many more.)

Maya is the founder and CEO of  FratRowFitness (FRF): a company all about bringing health and wellness in body and mind to communities and college campuses. She builds and fosters communities while teaching students about how to make healthy choices -- including sharing our favorite products. Events range from 15-100+ attendees and acquire thousands of dollars worth of sponsorships (MUSH Oats, Bandier, BALA, Splits59, Partake Cookies, Tarte Cosmetics, and more).
